Video conferencing and meeting rooms

The room decides the camera. A four-seat huddle room and a forty-seat board room need different optics, different microphones and a different budget. For small rooms an all-in-one bar is the quickest route to a room that works; for a boardroom a 4K camera with around 24x zoom; for a hall or lecture theatre, 36x. Audio is specified separately because it is decided by acoustics, not by the camera.

Public address for campuses and factories

Assembly grounds, lecture blocks, factory floors and warehouses, zoned so announcements reach the right area. We supplied and installed the public address system for both the O-level and A-level assembly grounds and the staff room at Mengo Senior School, and maintain it under agreement.

05How an engagement runsFive stages
STAGE 01

Design

Site survey, requirements and a solution architecture you can hold a vendor to — before anything is bought.

STAGE 02

Supply

Sourcing through direct manufacturer partnerships, so what arrives is genuine, licensed and supportable.

STAGE 03

Install

Cabling, trunking and routing to TIA-942B and T606C standards, with rack manuals and a labelling scheme left behind.

STAGE 04

Train

Your people learn the system on the system — administrators and end users — before we step back.

STAGE 05

Commission

Sign-off against the design, then an SLA. Several of our support relationships are past the ten-year mark.

06Questions we get asked
Why does our boardroom sound bad even with good speakers?
Almost always the room rather than the kit — hard glass and plasterboard produce reflections that smear speech. We measure first and treat the room where needed. More expensive speakers in an untreated room make the problem louder, not clearer.
What size camera does our room need?
For a huddle room up to about six seats, an all-in-one bar with a wide lens. For a standard boardroom, a 4K camera with roughly 24x zoom. For a hall or lecture theatre, 36x. Audio is specified separately.
Can you do a whole campus, not just one room?
Yes. We commissioned the e-learning multimedia studio at Soroti University and installed public address across both assembly grounds at Mengo Senior School.
Do you support the system after handover?
Yes, under a maintenance agreement, which for public address and teaching spaces we strongly recommend — these systems live outdoors or get used daily by many different people.

Tell us what needs to work.

A boardroom that never quite works, a call centre to stand up, a network that drops every afternoon, a security posture nobody has reviewed in three years. Send the brief and we will come and look.
